Mother’s Day may never be the same. For the first time ever at RiverWorks, Empower Girls Buffalo is organizing an event that is designed to empower girls (and their moms) by participating in various activities aimed at improving the lives of young women.
The event, called Girls Day Out, means to demonstrate the power that lies within the youngsters, which is ready to be realized and released. Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, etc. are invited to participate in the group activities, many of which are conducted by dedicated fitness instructors.
Girls Day Out is designed to promote a number of benefits, including the power of positive thinking, body image, benefits of exercise, coping skills, self-respect, goal setting and decision making. Where else are you going to find so much to do in such a fun and encouraging atmosphere?
The event is open to mothers and daughters, friends, and any other girls who are looking to get involved with life improving activities and initiatives.
