Queen City Fashion Week takes place from October 9 to October 16. During that time, a number of fashion related events occur in Buffalo. It’s a week to celebrate the people who are always putting time in to elevate the fashion scene – the designers, the models, the boutiques, the design students, etc.
This year, the big runway show takes place on Thursday, October 13 at The Foundry Suites on Elmwood Avenue.
There is a casting call for models this evening at The Foundry Suites between 6pm and 8pm (see Facebook). Below is the information for anyone looking to be a part of the big show:
MODELS
1. We are looking for male and female models, no children.
2. Wear leggings and a fitted tank top and bring at least 3 inch heels. For men, jeans and fitted tank with any shoes is fine. Preferably black for everyone.
3. No make up, and wear your hair down and natural, bring a hair tie to put up if requested.
4. Models must be at least 5’6″
If you are under 18 please make sure a parent or guardian is available to stay with you while you are at the casting.
HAIR AND MAKE UP
We will also be recruiting for anyone interested in doing hair and make up for the show. If you would like to have your portfolio reviewed, please attend one of the casting calls.
