A number of Buffalovers are hosting a giant wedding, where everyone is invited to come and marry your favorite city. That’s right. You are invited to marry Buffalo, and then celebrate the happy union. Reverends Paula Watkins and Ron Ehmke are planning an entire wedding ceremony, complete with bridal shower, stag party, wedding, street party and reception.
This is a very unique way to show your love and devotion to Buffalo. How often does one get a chance to marry his or her beloved city?
For years you Repats, Millennials, and Natives have been gushing about your “Buffalove” for “the New Buffalo” (and/or your Genny Cream-filled nostalgia for the Dirty Old one). We say talk is cheap–it’s time to get serious. Emboldened by the recent Supreme Court decision allowing us all to hop on the Slippery Slope to Non-Traditional Marriage, Reverends Paula Watkins and Ron Ehmke are ready to help YOU tie the knot to the metropolis you’ve been living in sin with.
