The dinners are hosted by talented chefs in locations that range from households to public places. Due to their popularity, getting a seat can sometimes be close to impossible, especially when there are only a few spots available.

Clik here to view. Now husband and wife chef team, Sarah and James Ernst, have started a pop-up dinner series in Buffalo that revolves around “big taste plant-based and vegan comfort food.” The two recently moved back to Buffalo and wanted to bring home a special food oriented enterprise with them. Between the two, they have all of their ducks in a row, without the ducks of course. Sarah is a plant-based chef, while James is a bit more experimental – he likes to mess around with meat replacements, fermented foods and homemade breads.
Believing that they have a lot to offer, and not wanting to go down the traditional restaurant road, Sarah and James have decided that the pop-up routine suits them best. Knowing that Buffalo is still somewhat limited when it comes to well-rounded vegan dinner offerings, they wanted to roll out a dinner series that would ‘wow’ the plant-based locals.
We are interested in creating a new and interesting night out for the Buffalo community. The location is held secret until the morning of the event.
Held once a month, the themed vegan dinners (5-6 courses) are set up at undisclosed locations until the day of the event. Sarah and James have also set out to work with other local businesses, such as Bootleg Bucha, to ensure that everything is local, supportive in nature, and includes flashes of Buffalo brilliance. Depending on the dinner theme, guests might end up attending a dinner that is reminiscent of Americana, a Childhood Lunchbox, an Italian Summer, or Southern Comfort, for example.
